I Hate Seaming!!!

I have a confession. I really despise seaming knitted pieces. Did I say ‘despise’? I should have said HATE! I hate seaming.

So…my next project is a summer pullover in soft, lightweight cotton yarn by Blue Sky Yarns. The BEST thing about this project? Hardly any seaming at all! It’s knit from the bottom up in one piece. The front and back separate at the sleeve decreases and are then worked flat. The shoulder seams are done in a three-needle bind-off, which simplifies the seaming tremendously. Then stitches are picked up around the sleeves for the ribbing, followed by stitches picked up around the neck for ribbing. Then–block and I’m finished!

And guess what?! NO SEAMING!

I really hate seaming.

Happy knitting!
